Free Fishing & Parks Days

It’s Free Fishing Weekend in Washington this Saturday and Sunday, when you can fish without a license and parking is free at Washington state parks and WDFW- and DNR-managed lands! Free Fishing Weekend is a great time to try fishing if you’ve been interested, or teach a friend or loved one how to fish without the need for a license.
While no license is required on Free Fishing Weekend, all other fishing regulations remain in effect, including the requirement for catch record cards for certain species. Visit https://wdfw.wa.gov/fishing/regulations for more information.
