𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙙𝙪𝙡𝙚 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙏𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙏𝙤𝙙𝙖𝙮! BIG VALLEY RD. POULSBO, WA☆𝗗𝗮𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗮 𝗛𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗺☆ 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝗻𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙨 𝙧𝙪𝙣 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙅𝙪𝙡𝙮 5𝙩𝙝- 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙚𝙚𝙠 𝙤𝙛 𝘼𝙪𝙜𝙪𝙨𝙩 23𝙧𝙙. 𝙈𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙮- 𝙁𝙧𝙞𝙙𝙖𝙮 (9𝙖𝙢-2𝙥𝙢) Course 1: The week of July 5th- We will be jumping in with Farm Critter Connections. Our students will be collecting eggs to bring home to your family. Sketching their favorite animals, learning to groom and lead the ponies, students will also learn anatomy, nutrition, and life cycles of the animals. As well as much more! Course 2:The week of July 12th-We will be having our Guided Acrylic Paints Course. This includes your canvases, paints, and brushes. We will be painting in the barn school space, but will take farm adventures for color inspiration and ideas. We will learn color blending and brush techniques. We will focus of 3 different paintings over the week and will help your child grow with each master piece! Course 3:The week of July 19th-Archery and Outdoor Education. We will be entirely outside for this week’s lessons. Rain or shine! We will be in the woods and hiking the creek on the back side of the farm. Learning our local flora and fauna as available. Bird watching and identifying. Fresh air, exercise and creative exploration. We will be documenting our week in a nature journal and learning what is provided naturally to make paints… Later in the week we will focus on Archery beginning with Saftey. This can include target practice as well as range finding and calculations. We will end the week with an ultimate scavenger hunt where each student sends an arrow and flag out and they get to track and retrieve their own flags! This is enormous fun for all age groups! Course 4:The week of July 26th-Garden to Table Cooking!Our gardens will be bursting with organic goods ready to be harvested! We will learn about each fruit and vegetable. The techniques to grow each successfully and then we will use these garden grown goods to create dishes that excite and satisfy! Savory and sweet creations, your children will have a hard time saving some delicious treats for the whole family to try! This course will be a mix of indoor/outdoor instruction. Course 5:The week of August 2nd-Flower Immersion and Identification This lesson is wonderful for all ages and characters. Beginning with yoga stretching in the flower field. Cutting arranging, pressing, sketching, and identifying flowers. As well as grand flower chains and drying petals for organic confetti. This lesson is all about the beauty of nature and the incredible magic of watching a bud transition to bloom! We have over 100 different blooms here on the farm to identify, and though your student may not leave here having learned them all, you will undoubtedly be impressed with how many species and varieties of flowers they can identify. Including and often most excitingly for many, the edible options!!! Yes flowers are edible and delicious too. Your child will be joy filled to bring home blossoms for you to try! This week is a mostly outdoors course. Course 6: The week of August 9th-We will repeating our Garden to Table Cooking course, however this will be different. We will combine our outdoor education course and mix in campfire cooking as well as identifying native edible plants and using them in our dishes. Course 7:The week of August 16th-This is another Farm Critter Connections course. We will be diving into horse camp this week. As well as learning about, spending time with and exploring our other farm Critters! Course 8:The week of August 23rd-Our Final week. Flower Immersion and Identification. The flower hill will be in full explosion at this time. From harvesting to pressing. Sketching and drying. We will be completely immersed in flowers all week long. Our courses are 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝗽 as parents come and tour the farm. Don’t miss your chance and schedule your tour today! Our tours are Monday through Friday. We have 4- 5- and 6 pm times available. Each week is $250.00 per student. If you enroll your student for 4 or more courses the price is reduced to $200.00 per week. Deposit and Enrollment forms are due to hold your students summer course.
