Our Christian youth camp is for kids ages 8 to 15. (OBJECTIVES) Each session is a blend of outdoor adventure, environmental education, faith building, and a whole lot of fun. Campers will have opportunities to experience archery, canoeing, kayaking, corcl (little round boat) games, ropes course, zip line, skits, songs, crazy games, crafts, worship, and a whole lot more.
Younger campers will stay in Calvinwood Lodge while the older groups will be in the Longhouse. Campers will also spend at least one night in tents at the Trillium Trail outpost learning new skills and outdoor cooking. The oldest campers can opt in for a canoe trip to Anderson Island and our youngest folks can help to care for the farm critters and the garden.
Nothing beats a summer at Sound View! Whether a veteran camper or a child’s first experience away from home, Sound View is the just the right size for all to feel welcome and appreciated. In 2021, family campers and youth campers will be sharing our 100 acre site and there will be some joint evening programs and worship.
